Narrabeen Lakes Chamber of Commerce is the voice of the Lakes Districts businesses. As such, it represents the commercial sector in dealings with both Warringah and Pittwater Council and community and statutory organisations. As part of the campaign of building awareness for the Narrabeen Lakes Chamber of Commerce, a new pelican logo was designed which is used to brand the Chamber's incentives and give the Chamber a stronger identity within the community. As the Narrabeen Lakes Chamber is open to all businesses in the 2101 and 2102 postcode areas, it's membership extends to Warriewood, Elanora Heights, Narrabeen, North Narrabeen and Ingleside. In fact any business that has dealings in these areas is welcome to join.
The new byline for the Chamber, which will be used in all it's stationery advertising and promotions will be
"Bridging Business Across the Lake" ,
The byline signify's the unification of all business sectors within the Chambers jurisdiction..

The Chamber has secured a full page, full colour magazine format in the Manly Daily and the Northern Beaches Weekender on behalf of it's members. The pages will advertise the shopping precincts as a destination and will have a maximum of 10 ads per page. The pages will only be open to members and the cost is $200.00 + GST per insert for the Manly Daily and $165.00+GST per insert for the Northern Beaches Weekender. It is proposed that these pages will be published one a month. If you are interested in securing an ad please email secretary@narrabeenchamber.org to request advertising space.

Sponsor a planter box for $300.00 per year. An a4 size sign will be placed on the inside of a Planter Box in Narrabeen carrying your logo and Company name. First in will choose which position they want. Two have been taken already... Hurry!
The Chamber has approached Warringah Council with a proposal to plant the perimeter of the car park in Berry Reserve. Some trees have already been planted, but we have requested that council plant a hedge to aesthetically improve the park area and give a soft separation from the car park and traffic of Pittwater Road. We are also hopeful of a low hedge in front of the basketball courts to soften the existing border.
Supporting local businesses and encouraging them to network with each other is a prime objective of the Chamber. We are proactively promoting regular networking meetings throughout the area and to date these have been a great success with many new members joining our team and generating new business at these meetings. The meetings are informal, currently being held bi-monthly. All business people associated with the 2101 and 2102 postcode areas are invited to attend. NLCC has secured a number of "Small Business Crime Prevention" and "E-Crime Prevention" packs from the Federal Government. These packs are free to members and contain a wealth of helpful information on crime prevention covering such topics as burglary & holdups, theft, staff crimes, fraudulent internet banking etc. These packs are well worth reading and we would encourage members to contact us to receive a copy.
We are in the process of ordering fairy lights for installation in our trees on Pittwater Road. We hope to have these lights in before Christmas to add to the festive atmosphere of Narrabeen.
