Q. The small park area and carpark outside Woolworths was at one time a lovely spot. Now it is not well kept with graffiti and too small rubbish bins. With all the eateries now there, can the Chamber work with the Council and the eateries to make this area better with good outdoor eating facilities and better landscaping? Those of us who live further along from the car park spend a lot of time keeping our part of the lake clean and nice for visitors - so how about the businesses including Woolworths?
A. Thank you so much for your suggestion. You'll be glad to know that we are in the process with council for getting all the flower boxes replanted (approved and being actioned soon) and looking at getting the graffiti removed. I know it has been a long slow process however rest assured we are getting closer and are too looking forward to having it looking lovely again.
