The program is for business owners over 45 years of age to learn from each other and have a business mentor allocated to act as a sounding board and help face the many challenges that today's highly competitive and rapidly changing global market place presents.

Each of the 5 sessions includes successful business owners who will share their own experiences.

Silent Auction Benefit Night Dee Why RSL Club

My name is Mitchell Bosworth and I am asking you to help a special someone who not only is an outstanding member of the NSW Police Force, but is also a father and husband.  This special person is Sergeant Rob Mulheron.
I ask that you please take the time to read a little background information on this special man.

Rob is 33 years old and is a Sergeant with NSW Police Force.  His wife Katie is also a serving member of NSW Police Force, each having spent the majority of their careers on the Northern Beaches. They married four years ago and have a two year old daughter Isabella.

When Rob was in his early 20s, he had a suspicious mole burnt off which was later revealed as the primary melanoma. A few years went by and one week before Rob and Katie were to be married, Rob complained of soreness in his neck. Urgent scans and a biopsy revealed an aggressive cancer spreading to lymph nodes in both sides of his neck.

They were allowed to get married, but sadly were forced to cancel their honeymoon in order for Rob to have an operation. Two days after the wedding, Katie filled out the admission forms as Robs wife and he was taken to the operating theatre. It was a sad way to start the rest of their life together. They never complained.

After painful treatment of radiation and chemotherapy, Rob remained cancer free for almost 18 months. During that time, Katie became pregnant with Isabella. When Isabella was only 8 weeks old, the cancer returned in Robs lung. They confirmed the cancer as being metastatic melanoma.
During 2009, Rob has been plagued by recurring tumours in both of his lungs, liver, and most recently his brain. But Rob fought on, and successfully survived four operations in one year to remove these tumours.  Katie has since become Robs primary carer.

Seven weeks ago, Rob underwent emergency brain surgery and following this, received an all clear scan. A sigh of relief.

Approximately three weeks ago, Rob and Katies life was turned upside down when they were told the cancer had returned and spread at a rapid rate. The result is that Rob now has cancer on his brain, in both lungs, kidney, spine and other bones in his body.

The Rob Mulheron Benefit Night Committee has planned a benefit night with entertainment and fund raising activities including; a memorabilia auction, raffle, and a silent auction at the Dee Why RSL Club on the 15 May 2010.

Already Pokolbin Estate Vineyards has committed to sponsorship.

Our hope for the night is to raise enough money for Rob and Katie to ensure that their quality of life can be sustained throughout whatever path the disease takes them.

All their married life, they have fought an uphill battle. It is hoped we can raise enough funds to financially help this wonderful young family at this difficult and heartbreaking time.

Both Rob and Katie have committed their careers to public service and we feel we owe it to them to support them.
After providing you with this background I respectfully ask for your support by providing any merchandise or services that we can auction, raffle, or donate directly to this cause.

Your contribution will be widely publicized pre event, and indeed at the function. You are also welcome to book a table at the event if you so wish.
Please feel free to contact me for any other information you may need.

I thank you for your time.

Fiji RetreatFiji Retreat with Mind Mechanics

Media Release:

Island Escapes have been appointed by Mind Mechanics Hypnosis Clinics founder Judi Gurd-Chapman, to assist with their new concept of Holiday and Hypnosis workshop/ retreats. This innovative concept takes clients on one week of self discovery, while surrounded by exceptional 5-Star hospitality, entertainment and impressive Resort amenities

Mind Mechanics Director, Clinical Hypnotherapist and NLP trainer Judi Gurd Chapman says we are excited to be introducing the idea of a different type of Resort holiday, by value adding what people would normally get in separate group workshops or at one on one change consultations.  Hypnosis is known for its effective release of general unwanted habits. In addition it can restore or enhance deep Self change.

Mind Mechanics has been operating on the Northern Beaches and at Neutral Bay for many years and have only recently released this new service to clients.  Judi says this multi-faceted Hypnotherapy program of 10 x one hour workshop sessions gives to our clients an experience that ensures life long changes happen.

Research shows that this opportunity of combining a holiday at a 5-Star Resort with a brain change program is highly effective for many individuals and groups across many categories of stress and anxiety related behaviours. Companies are now able to use us as an incentive for over stressed executives and staff.

At Mind Mechanics we feel that we truly take our clients best interests to heart and give our all to maximise the performance and success of those who come to relax with us.

In partnership with Island Escapes the stunning 5-Star Outrigger on Lagoon, Fiji will be hosting our next one week retreat beginning 23rd May, 2010.
